Your final stop is in Poe’s backyard cemetery, where a mausoleum containing his mother and other loved ones rests in the shadow of the moonlit trees. The night is still, save for the occasional gust of wind that rustles through the leaves, adding to the eerie atmosphere. The cemetery is small, enclosed by a wrought iron fence, with a few well-tended graves. As you step further in, something catches your eye— a crumpled apology letter from Amelia Cyrano, apologizing to Poe for accusing him of plagiarism.
As you continue your investigation, you find a piece of cloth snagged on the fence—one that matches Doctor Blackwell’s coat. Nearby, you notice a familiar and powerful odor. You put a handkerchief over your mouth and nose and, hidden in the shadows of the mausoleum: a broken stalk of hemlock, the poisonous and deadly plant.
You know who did this, don't you? It's time to confront the killer.
Walk up to the killer and tell them "I know what you did".
The killer will confess.
