The Library

After a thorough search of the library, the detectives find the following:

The dealer, a sharp-eyed man, deals your hand as you plunk down a coin. You look around and notice that other players are using wooden chips. After you've played a couple of hands, he hands you a card and says, almost offhandedly:

"Strange night, isn’t it? Lots of... anger. There is an air of danger, as if there are storms meeting here in this house. Mr. Poe looks ashen and in a state of despair, but is that really any different than ever before? He lost his mother as a child to tuberculosis. I s'pose that's why all of his poetry is so mournful. He seems to have invited people who aren't too keen on seeing him succeed, though. Anyhow, speak to the fortune teller at Ravens and Roses. Show them this card." The blackjack dealer winks at you with a smile at the corner of his lips and says "good luck".

The detective in you stirs. Is everyone here hiding the truth? You make your way over to the Ravens and Roses table and sit down, showing the dealer the card. They start to deal.
